Node.js + MongoDB Developer

As a Node.js + MongoDB Developer at GrabOn, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining robust backend services, APIs, and database structures. Your responsibilities will include designing, optimizing, and maintaining backend services using Node.js, creating efficient MongoDB database schemas and queries, and developing RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, write clean and maintainable code following best practices, troubleshoot and upgrade backend systems as needed, and participate in code reviews. You should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js, solid expertise in MongoDB including schema design and aggregation, proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture. Additionally, familiarity with API development, JWT authentication, middleware, version control systems like Git, RESTful API principles, and microservices architecture is required. You should also possess the ability to write unit and integration tests using tools like Mocha, Chai, Jest, etc. Nice to have skills include experience with Express.js or NestJS, exposure to caching (Redis), message queues (RabbitMQ), or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and containerization using Docker.
