As a proficient Node.js Developer with TypeScript experience, you will be joining a dynamic development team to work on the backend of an enterprise-grade SaaS platform in Chennai. Your role will involve ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of the platform through backend development, API development, and database management. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain server-side components using Node.js, writing reusable, testable, and efficient code. - Design and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend services and third-party integrations. - Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the application, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to API requests. - Implement security and data protection best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards. - Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions, participating in code reviews and providing feedback. - Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, collaborating with the QA team to identify and fix bugs. - Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, proactively suggesting improvements to the development process and architecture. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development with Node.js. - Proficient in Node.js and Express.js with TypeScript experience, strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. - Experience with SQL and MySQL databases, knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
