The Mining Mate will be responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of mining operations, assisting in blasting operations, and maintaining proper records of mining activities. The job also involves guiding and instructing workers, conducting pre-operational checks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Qualifications A strong understanding of mining operations and safety procedures Experience in supervising and guiding workers in a mining environment Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documenting mining activities Knowledge of blasting operations and related safety measures Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team A valid mining mate certificate/license Experience in the civil and finishing engineering sector is a plus
