Role Overview: The General Manager will lead Phytolands overall business operations, ensuring end-to-end excellence across manufacturing, finance, marketing, and digital brand building. The GM will drive both offline and online expansion, strengthen the brand’s digital presence, and implement strategies aligned with the vision of achieving 2 crore happy customers by 2029. --- Key Responsibilities 1. Business & Strategic Leadership Design and execute short- and long-term business strategies for revenue and market expansion. Develop annual budgets, targets, and performance monitoring systems. Drive profitability and ensure operational efficiency across all departments. 2. Manufacturing & Product Development Oversee production planning, batch scheduling, and quality control. Coordinate with R&D and formulation teams for innovation and product improvement. Ensure GMP, FDA, and Cosmetic Rules compliance. 3. Supply Chain & Procurement Manage raw material and packaging sourcing (domestic & international). Negotiate with suppliers, monitor inventory levels, and control costs. Oversee logistics, vendor performance, and timely dispatches. 4. Finance & Administration Supervise budgeting, cost control, and MIS reporting. Coordinate with banks, auditors, and legal consultants. Maintain compliance with GST, PF, and company law requirements. 5. Digital Strategy & Brand Development Lead digital transformation and online sales channels (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, Website). Develop and execute social media marketing plans across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Collaborate with design and marketing teams for content creation, influencer tie-ups, ad campaigns, and analytics tracking. Implement SEO, SEM, and digital advertising strategies for global reach. Monitor performance through Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and other tools. Build and nurture online brand identity for Phytoland, Nisargalaya, and Vedanoni brands. 6. Leadership & Team Development Manage departmental heads, define KPIs, and ensure accountability. Build a performance-oriented, motivated culture aligned with the company’s mission. Conduct regular review meetings and training sessions. --- Desired Candidate Profile Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred) with 10–15 years’ experience in FMCG / Cosmetics / Ayurveda. Proven experience in digital brand building, online marketing, and e-commerce operations. Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook Ads, influencer marketing, and Shopify / Amazon dashboards. Leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
