The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate books of accounts, stock tallying, inventory record-keeping, and handling invoicing and reporting functions. The role demands precision, efficiency, and a sound understanding of accounting practices in a manufacturing/FMCG setup. Key Responsibilities : Bookkeeping & Accounts Maintenance Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts (manual and computerized). Record daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts regularly using Tally or other accounting software. Prepare ledger entries, journal vouchers, and bank reconciliations. Stock and Inventory Management Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock tallying of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. Maintain accurate stock registers and update inward/outward stock movement. Reconcile physical inventory with system records and report discrepancies. Invoicing & Billing Generate sales invoices for dispatches as per customer and distributor requirements. Maintain billing logs and ensure proper documentation for GST and compliance purposes. Coordinate with dispatch and sales teams to ensure smooth order processing. GST & Compliance Support Maintain purchase and sales registers for GST compliance. Assist in filing GST returns, TDS records, and other statutory requirements. Prepare data for audits and liaise with auditors as required. Reporting & MIS Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports including sales, stock, cash flow, etc. Assist in budgeting and cost analysis related to production and distribution. Provide insights to management based on financial trends.
