Responsible to get new accounts on board. Generation of Inbound and Outbound air and sea cargo from various origins and different destinations. Meeting new and existing clients in designated area, understanding their logistics needs and then providing a complete cost- effective solution for their requirements. Support sales team in business growth by regularly visiting existing and new customers and targeting their cross functional business. Monthly/Quarterly reviews with customer to gain confidence/ volumes. Coordination with sales support staff and customer -support departments to ensure the best of the services to the customers. To ensure timely collection of payments from the customers. Ensure all the billing files are timely shared with Accounts team and support in collection of overdue o/s payments by following up with customers. Act as front end to all the customer issues and ensure regular operational support for all the business handled. Maintain records of customer details/sales visits / Compliance on all MIS reports/data maintenance and statutory requirements Generate MIS as per the business need for the customer and Management. Liaison with overseas office and seeking their support for important customers. In addition to freight forwarding, selling all other products i.e., Export/Imports (Custom Clearance), warehousing, transportation, heavy haulage, 3PL etc.
