Company Description The NIHR Global Health Research Unit on Global Surgery connects surgeons, researchers, and policymakers to address patient needs in LMICs through collaborative research. The Unit is founded on equitable partnerships and evolving shared leadership, fostering sustainability through Hub Directors. With surgical research Hubs in seven countries and a network of urban and rural hospitals, the Unit has conducted multiple surgical studies and builds research capacity through tailored training programs. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Early Career Biostatistician with additional skills in Qualitative Research and adept in NVIVO or similar software. Should be able to work with statistical software including R suite. Located in Ludhiana. The Biostatistician will engage in the design, analysis, and interpretation of quantitative & qualitative data from various research studies. Responsibilities include daily statistical programming, utilizing statistical software, conducting survival analysis, and providing analytical support for ongoing clinical and surgical research projects. Collaboration with research teams and ensuring data integrity are key aspects of the role. Additionally can lead research projects. Qualifications Proficiency in Statistical Programming and using Statistical Software including NVIVO and R Strong Analytical Skills and expertise in Statistics Experience with Survival Analysis techniques Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field Experience with clinical or surgical research is advantageous Proposed Salary : INR 70,000 Per Month (Consolidated)
