As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting licensed pharmacists with various administrative duties within pharmacies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Taking in and handing out prescriptions - Dispensing prescriptions - Using computer systems to generate stock lists and labels - Ordering items - Receiving, loading, and unloading deliveries - Delivering medicines to other parts of a hospital or health centre - Selling over-the-counter medicines - Answering customer questions face to face or by phone - Pre-packing, assembling, and labeling medicines - Preparing medicines - Referring problems or queries to the pharmacist Qualifications Required: - Diploma is required - Basic computer experience: 2 years required - Total work experience: 2 years required - Pharmacy Assistant experience: 2 years required The company provides health insurance as a benefit.
