We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead the execution of large-scale manufacturing programs for complex engineering products. This is a leadership position suited for someone with extensive experience managing end-to-end product life cycles from development to market launch in manufacturing-heavy environments. Person will coordinate across engineering, operations, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure smooth, timely, and cost-effective program delivery. The role demands strong leadership, hands-on execution skills, and deep domain knowledge. Key Responsibilities Manage full project lifecycle from New Product Development (NPD) through manufacturing and final handover to sales. Lead and align cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality. Plan and manage the Bill of Program (BOP), aligning product goals with resource planning, timelines, and deliverables. Work closely with engineering to understand the product and build a manufacturing roadmap that supports efficiency and quality. Proactively identify risks, resolve operational roadblocks, and ensure program timelines are met. Align suppliers to program schedules and ensure timely component delivery. Use SAP and other tools to collect, track, and analyze program data for informed decision-making. Recommend and implement improvements in workflow, productivity, and cost optimization. Monitor program metrics and team performance to ensure alignment with business goals. Someone who is a go getter and can work in start up environment. Some who has sourced high-value, engineered parts or systems such as precision mechanical components, electronics, or assemblies ideally for aerospace, defence, capital equipment, or heavy industry, protective equipment, rugged load-carrying systems, advanced surveillance technology, mobility kits, and structural composites . Someone who has worked with manufacturers and suppliers of ballistic materials, performance textiles, ceramic composites, metals, and mechatronic assemblies and is able to indentify vendors in wearables, tactical-grade optics, autonomous sensing platforms (e.g., drones, smart cameras), and PPE technologies . Strong network in industries including industrial textiles, specialty ceramics, steel fabricators, and electronic subsystems . Experience in sourcing complex, high-value assemblies such as electro-optical sensors, rugged embedded electronics, or components for autonomous or remotely operated platforms used in regulated, high-compliance environments. Responsibilities: Work with different teams to understand what materials or parts are needed and plan how to get them. Be the main contact between the company and suppliers build trust, communicate clearly, and make sure suppliers deliver whats needed, with the right quality, the first time. Negotiate deals with suppliers talk about prices, delivery schedules, and make sure both sides are happy, while sticking to company rules and contracts. Cut costs smartly work with engineers and suppliers to find ways to make things cheaper without losing quality. Find and evaluate new suppliers research, compare options, and get the best deals. Manage current suppliers make sure they keep up their performance and meet expectations. Make processes better always look for ways to improve how the company buys and gets things. Plan for risks think ahead about things that could go wrong (like delays or shortages), and have backup plans ready. Full ownership of sourcing components for high-compliance, multi-subsystem platforms Negotiating and managing vendor relationships for precision mechanical, electronic, and electro-optical assemblies Driving cost optimization and delivery performance without compromising quality Identifying and onboarding suppliers capable of supporting rugged, mission-critical applications Building scalable, reliable sourcing processes in a fast-moving, engineering-first environment CTC :25-30L(depending upon person's background).
