The Global Product Manager is responsible for leading strategic growth and lifecycle management across product portfolios, including product strategy formulation, market analysis, pricing management, and profitability optimization. This role involves coordinating global product launches, driving channel development, and engaging deeply with customers to deliver tailored value propositions. Acting as a central liaison among R&D, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and business development teams. This role is pivotal to ensure clear cross-functional collaboration, comprehensive training, continuous performance monitoring, and effective stakeholder management. Fostering a collaborative and high-performing product management team. Key Job Responsibilities: Develop and implement product strategic growth plans and comprehensive product roadmaps. Manage lifecycle transitions including end-of-life and last-time-buy analyses. The product manager will be at the centre of new product development by understanding customer, regional and segment needs To turn market needs into clear specifications for R&D Oversee new product development (NPD) To enforce intensive continuous collaboration with segment and regional leaders. Develop growth strategies with the regional and segment leaders on each product. Conduct detailed market analyses, competitive benchmarking, and continuous monitoring of competitor activities and pricing strategies. Identify product feature gaps and compliance requirements. Lead product cost improvement initiatives and conduct gross profit analyses. Develop and manage regional price lists, discount strategies, and competitive average selling price (ASP) analyses. Coordinate global product launches with regional sales and marketing teams. Develop comprehensive sales toolkits to improve sales effectiveness along with the marketing communications team. Facilitate regional promotional campaigns and local product introductions. Proactively support regional channel development and geographical market expansion with regional leaders. Develop segment-specific value propositions and highlight application success stories. Facilitate collaboration among R&D, segment leaders, regional teams, and manufacturing. Monitor product performance, sales metrics, and customer satisfaction to inform strategic decisions. Collaborate with Global Product Training teams to ensure robust training materials are available. Travel Requirements: Frequent international travel Qualifications & Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred) Extensive experience in Variable Speed Drives, or manufacturing automation in the capacity of sales and/or marketing. Strong financial acumen & profitability management experience Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
