As a Network and Data Center Engineer, you will be responsible for providing Planning, Designing, Implementation, Operation, and Optimization services to customers utilizing Cisco Network & Data Center products and related solutions. Your role will involve establishing strong relationships with customer management and teams, especially in the Data Center Infrastructure areas and future technology advancements. You will be tasked with solving complex, multi-functional issues spanning various technologies such as network, server, virtualization, security, applications, operations, content switching, caching, content delivery networks, and security. Your ability to apply a good analytic process to resolve issues efficiently will be crucial in this role. Furthermore, you will provide technical support to customers during software and hardware upgrades, as well as Proof of Concepts. Collaboration with TAC (Technical Assistance Center) teams, third-party vendors, Cisco Sales and Professional Services, as well as Development and Engineering teams will be essential for successful project delivery. Key Skills required for this position include: - Proficiency in routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, Static Routing, BFD, PIM, etc. - Familiarity with ACI and terminology such as Vxlan, Tenant, BD creation, EPG, Subnet, Contract, L3 out, L2 out. - Knowledge of switching technology, Vlan, Spanning-tree, VTP, ACL, etc. - Understanding of Multicast routing, PIM, IGMP protocols, SPT, etc. - Hands-on experience with Cisco, Huawei, and Arista devices. - Experience and knowledge of Nexus family including VPC, VDC, MEC, Orphan port management. - Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IPSec, PPP, HSRP, VRRP, redundancy protocol, IPSLA, and SNMP protocols. - Proficient in Designing & troubleshooting of DC equipment, specifically Nexus Boxes in Spine & Leaf Topology, and ACI Traffic Flow. Certifications required: - CCNP is a must, CCIE certification is preferred. Additional Skills that would be advantageous: - Fundamentals of Cisco SD-WAN - Experience with Cisco Data Center products such as Nexus 9000, Nexus 3000, Nexus 7000/5000, and Cisco ACI. - Knowledge of Cisco ASR 9K (IOS XR) and Cisco ASR 1K (IOS/IOS XE). - Proficiency in VXLAN and ACI technologies. - Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS & ACI Migration. - Experience with L4-L7 load balancing, firewalls, etc. This role may require working in a 24x7 shift environment to cater to customer needs efficiently.,

You will be expected to tackle complex, multi-functional issues that span various technologies such as network, server, virtualization, security, applications, operations, content switching, caching, content delivery networks, and security. Applying a sound analytic process to assist in issue resolution will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will offer technical support to customers during software and hardware upgrades and Proof of Concepts, collaborating with TAC (Technical Assistance Center) teams, third-party vendors, Cisco Sales and Professional Services, as well as Development and Engineering teams.
