You should have deep technical knowledge and understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols and technologies including VPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP. Additionally, you must possess strong Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K platform knowledge and hands-on experience. Knowledge of overlay technologies such as VXLAN, BGP EVPN, OTV, and LISP is also required. Familiarity with Cisco SDN based technologies like Cisco ACI, Cisco Programmable Network Portfolio (Standalone VXLAN-Fabric), and DCNM is essential for this role. Desired skills that would be a value add include being familiar with computing, virtualization, and container environments such as Cisco UCS, Hyperflex, VMware, Microsoft, and Kubernetes. In terms of education and certifications, a Degree or Masters qualification is required. Additionally, having certifications like CCNP, CCIE (R&S/DC), VCP, AWS, and CKA would be considered good to have for this position.,
