Next-Gen Electrochemical Technologies Lab (NET - Lab), SRM AP

As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Next-Gen Electrochemical Technologies Lab (NET-Lab) in SRM University, AP, you will be part of a dynamic research team focused on developing next-generation electrochemical systems, advanced energy storage & conversion technologies, and electrochemical process intensification through modeling, simulation, and experimental innovation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop CFD and multiphysics models for electrochemical systems - Optimise reactor designs and flow architectures - Perform electrochemical analysis and device performance evaluation - Collaborate with experimental researchers for model validation - Write manuscripts, patents, reports, and assist in grant proposals - Mentor PhDs and graduate students **Qualifications:** - PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrochemistry, Energy Engineering, or related fields - Strong demonstrated experience in CFD or multiphysics modeling - Proficiency with COMSOL, ANSYS, OpenFOAM, or similar tools - Strong publication record in reputable journals - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in electrochemical device design, modeling, or diagnostics - Knowledge of electrolyzer/fuel cell/battery systems - Experience with Python/MATLAB for model automation As a member of NET-Lab, you will have the opportunity to work with a fast-growing, well-funded research group, access advanced simulation resources, publish in high-impact journals, engage in international collaboration and travel, and receive support to develop an independent research trajectory.
