In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also: - Coordinate daily and long-term news coverage plans, ensuring comprehensive and timely reporting. - Assign stories and beats to reporters and journalists, guiding the direction of our news coverage. - Monitor news wires, press releases, and events for coverage opportunities that align with our editorial focus. - Ensure timely delivery of scripts, visuals, and audio for broadcast or publication, maintaining high-quality standards. - Track story progress and deadlines to meet our content schedule effectively. - Maintain newsroom calendars and contact databases for efficient coordination within the team. - Help coordinate live updates on social media during developing stories, engaging our audience in real-time news updates.
