Swadesi.com is seeking a dynamic, charismatic, and knowledgeable Anchor to host engaging and insightful interviews with Indian movie personnel, including actors, directors, producers, and other prominent figures from the film industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Indian cinema, possess excellent communication and interviewing skills, and demonstrate the ability to connect effortlessly with both guests and audiences. Key Responsibilities: Conduct live and recorded interviews with movie personalities, maintaining professionalism and an engaging presence on-air. Research guests and topics thoroughly to develop thoughtful, relevant, and compelling interview questions. Maintain strong relationships and open communication with film industry professionals and public relations representatives. Collaborate closely with producers, directors, and the technical crew to ensure seamless interview segments. Keep up-to-date with current trends, events, and news in the Indian film industry to deliver timely and culturally relevant content. Represent the brand professionally, both on and off camera. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, Media Studies, or a related field preferred. Prior experience as an anchor, host, interviewer, or similar on-camera role. Deep knowledge of contemporary Indian cinema, culture, and entertainment. Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to think quickly, improvise when needed, and handle unexpected scenarios gracefully. Fluent in English and proficiency in Hindi; additional Indian languages are an advantage.
