Job Title: Marketing and Social Media Manager (with Graphic Designing experience), Branding and Events Location: NEW YORK ACADEMY , A Progressive American School, Jubilee Hills , HYD. Reports To: PRINCIPAL , parallel reporting to Head of Operations Position Overview: The Marketing Manager will lead the school’s digital marketing, social media presence, graphic design initiatives, and parent communication efforts. This role requires expertise in branding, content creation, and engagement strategies to support admissions, enrollment, and overall school visibility. Key Responsibilities: Social Media & Digital Marketing: Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance the school’s online presence. Manage and grow engagement across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Create and schedule content calendars for consistent communication. Monitor analytics and optimize campaigns for better reach and engagement. Implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility. Graphic Design & Content Creation: Design high-quality visual content for digital and print platforms using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. Create engaging social media graphics, website visuals, and event materials. Maintain a library of marketing-focused images and videos for use across various platforms. Coordinate professional photography and videography projects. Parent Communication & Engagement: Develop and implement parent communication strategies to enhance engagement and satisfaction. Manage parent newsletters, email campaigns, and school updates. Organize parent webinars, meetings, and events to foster strong relationships. Act as a liaison between parents and school leadership, addressing concerns and feedback.Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field. 2-7 years of experience in marketing, preferably in an educational setting. Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills to engage with parents, staff, and external stakeholders. Preferred Experience: Background in education marketing or international schools. Knowledge of parent engagement strategies and community building. Experience with website management and SEO. Familiarity with event planning and public relations. Technical & Digital Skills Expertise in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube). Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools. Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital advertising. Experience with website management and email marketing platforms. Communication & Engagement Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to craft engaging newsletters, press releases, and parent communication materials. Strong public relations and community engagement abilities. Experience in event planning and coordination. Strategic & Leadership Abilities Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with school goals. Strong project management and team leadership skills. Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly. Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
