The PT Teacher will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering structured physical education classes and sports activities to promote physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, and overall well-being of students. Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Curriculum Delivery Conduct regular PT periods for all classes as per the timetable. Plan age-appropriate physical activities, exercises, and sports training sessions. Ensure inclusivity in sports and physical activities. Sports & Co-curricular Activities Train students for intra-school and inter-school sports competitions. Organize annual sports day, fitness assessments, and other physical activity events. Guide students in yoga, aerobics, and other fitness routines (if required). Student Development Foster discipline, team spirit, and leadership qualities through sports. Promote healthy lifestyle practices among students. Identify and nurture talent for competitive sports. Safety & Supervision Ensure students’ safety during all sports and physical activities. Maintain sports equipment and facilities in proper condition. Follow first-aid and emergency protocols when needed. Skills & Competencies Required: Strong knowledge of physical education, sports, and fitness training. Good communication and motivational skills. Ability to manage large groups of students effectively. First-aid knowledge preferred. Passion for promoting fitness and sports culture in school. Qualifications:Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) or equivalent. Previous experience as a PT/Sports teacher preferred. Freshers with strong sports background may also apply.
