Responsibilities Site Survey & Assessment: Conduct on-site surveys to assess technical feasibility. Analyze roof structure, shading, orientation, and load capacity. Evaluate electrical systems for integration with solar solutions. Installation & Commissioning: Supervise and coordinate rooftop solar system installation. Ensure all components (panels, inverters, wiring, mounts) are correctly installed. Perform system testing and commissioning in compliance with electrical codes. Project Execution: Monitor daily project activities and maintain documentation. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams. Track project progress and report any delays or issues. Quality & Safety: Ensure work adheres to technical drawings and safety regulations. Perform quality checks and resolve on-site technical issues. Enforce proper usage of PPE and compliance with safety protocols. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve performance issues or faults in solar systems. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Provide support for system upgrades or component replacements. Qualifications Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy Engineering. 2–8 years of experience in rooftop solar installations. Familiarity with PV system design tools, electrical drawings, and safety standards. Knowledge of relevant national/international standards (e.g., IEC, MNRE guidelines).
