Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neurofeedback Technician to join our team at Abhasa Rehabilitation & Wellness Home. The Neurofeedback Technician will play a crucial role in assisting our patients in their journey towards improved cognitive function and emotional well-being by administering neurofeedback sessions and monitoring progress.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Neurofeedback Assessment: Conduct initial assessments of patients to determine their neurofeedback needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

2. Neurofeedback Sessions: Administer neurofeedback sessions to patients according to prescribed treatment plans, ensuring the safety and comfort of the patient throughout the process.

3. Equipment Management: Set up, calibrate, and maintain neurofeedback equipment, ensuring that it functions properly and safely for each session.

4. Data Collection: Collect and record data during neurofeedback sessions, including patient responses and progress, and maintain accurate and organized records.

5. Patient Education: Educate patients about the neurofeedback process, goals, and expectations, and address any questions or concerns they may have.

6. Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

7. Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, therapists, and physicians, to coordinate patient care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.

8. Documentation: Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

9. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and effectiveness of neurofeedback sessions by staying current with industry best practices and participating in ongoing training and professional development.

10. Patient Support: Provide emotional support to patients undergoing neurofeedback therapy, recognizing and addressing any signs of distress or discomfort.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Certification in neurofeedback or biofeedback therapy is highly desirable.

- Previous experience working as a Neurofeedback Technician or in a similar role is an advantage.

- Strong knowledge of brain anatomy and functioning.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Proficiency in operating neurofeedback equipment and software.

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
