As a Principal Engineer at Eridu AI, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and development of the Software Development Kit (SDK), which serves as the essential abstraction layer bridging the hardware and software ecosystems. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with Silicon, System, and NOS teams to ensure the high-performance switch ASIC is optimized and ready for production. **Key Responsibilities**: - Lead the design and development of the Software Development Kit (SDK) to facilitate seamless interaction between hardware and software components. - Collaborate with Silicon, System, and NOS teams to ensure the performance and readiness of the high-performance switch ASIC. - Utilize expertise in L2 and L3 Ethernet switching and routing protocols to enhance the functionality of the SDK. - Develop coding solutions in languages like C/C++/Python to optimize the performance of the SDK. - Implement and enhance SDK features related to L2 switching/forwarding, L3 unicast/multicast routing protocols, ACL, QoS, Policers, TCAM, etc. - Apply hands-on experience in building firmware and software abstractions for networking ASICs, SoCs, and embedded platforms. - Demonstrate proficiency in C/C++ within Linux-based environments and utilize compiler toolchains for network latency profiling. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's in Computer Science/ECE with 10+ years of experience or Master's in CS/ECE with 5+ years of experience. - Strong expertise in L2 and L3 Ethernet switching and routing protocols. - Proficiency in coding languages such as C/C++/Python. - Experience in developing SDK for Ethernet switch silicon. - Knowledge and experience in various networking protocols and technologies.
