Description
You are a skilled L2 Network Engineer with expertise in cloud environments and network support. Your hands-on experience with Palo Alto technologies, including Prisma or Start cloud manager for network portal management, as well as strong fundamentals in routing, switching, and DNS management using Infoblox will be essential for this role. As a Network Engineer, your responsibilities will include managing and optimizing Palo Alto Prisma for WAN and firewall configurations, implementing and supporting Meraki network infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and support of cloud-based servers in Azure, GCP, and AWS, collaborating with global teams in Bangalore, Waterloo, and Atlanta to support network operations and DNS management, assisting in transitioning workstations after spinning off from the previous organization, resolving Microsoft-related issues, and configuring and maintaining DNS entries to facilitate cloud access for developers. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with 3+ years of experience in network engineering with exposure to cloud environments. Proficiency in Palo Alto Networks technologies (Prisma, Start cloud manager), Meraki, and Infoblox for DNS management is required. You should also have a strong understanding of routing, switching, and Layer 2 network configurations, experience working with global teams, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to resolve network issues promptly. Preferred skills include certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent, familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and their networking capabilities, and the ability to adapt to evolving network technologies and business requirements.,
