Job Description

Role Overview: You have over 10 years of relevant experience in a Network Operations Engineer role. You hold a mandatory CCNA certification, and a CCNP certification is preferred or actively being pursued. Your strong working knowledge includes areas such as Branch & Data Centre Switching and Routing, Wireless technologies setup, troubleshooting, and security, Enterprise Firewalls especially CheckPoint and Palo Alto, Internet routing and security principles, Cloud technologies, interior and exterior routing protocols, Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPN technologies, Proxy technologies like Bluecoat or McAfee, Load Balancers, IP Address Management, and network services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, Network management, monitoring & diagnostic tools, and Network probes and packet capture analysis. Your excellent communication skills in English are essential. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate as part of a global, multi-locational cross-matrix team in a dynamic environment. - Play a key role in maintaining and evolving the technical network estate. - Focus on operations and sustaining engineering, with occasional project/change work. - Partner with teams such as Service Desk, Platforms, Information Security, and End User Services. - Take ownership of incidents, problems, and issues, ensuring adherence to SLAs and OLAs. - Serve as a technical resource for change requests and project implementations, maintenance activities, firmware upgrades, and patch cycles. - Work using standard operating procedures and internal documentation. - Log and update incidents/requests via ServiceNow. - Maintain awareness of technology roadmaps for both existing and upcoming solutions. - Shift work, weekend support, and on-call responsibilities are part of the role. Qualification Required: - Experience working within the ITIL Framework. - Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform. - Awareness or knowledge of voice, video, and audio-visual solutions.,
