Network Administrator with Zscaler

Role Overview: You have 6+ years of relevant technical experience in Network support and operations with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Zscaler, ZIA, ZPA, and Zero Trust management. Your main responsibilities include managing and configuring Zscaler policies and rules, troubleshooting Zscaler issues, understanding traffic flows for both Https and custom application-based traffic, and designing solutions for firewalling and proxy services. You will also be responsible for blacklisting and whitelisting based on project requirements, configuring PAC profiles, troubleshooting Zscaler connection issues in ZPA, and managing SSL inspection and certificate. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and configure Zscaler policies and rules - Troubleshoot Zscaler issues and configure forwarding profile, app profile, etc. - Design solutions for firewalling and proxy services based on traffic flows - Blacklist and whitelist based on project requirements - Configure PAC profiles and troubleshoot Zscaler connection issues in ZPA - Manage SSL inspection and certificate - Have good knowledge of routing, switching, and internet content filtering - Troubleshoot VLAN, VTP, STP, Port channel, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, VSS & VPC, proxy exception rule management, OS upgrades, proxy centralized management - Manage stakeholders and provide troubleshooting knowledge - Have good knowledge of LAN, WAN, and internet - Utilize monitoring tools effectively - Be customer-centric - Proactively assist junior team members and share knowledge - Ensure work is carried out in accordance with ITIL Incident Management guidelines - Follow the ticketing process according to the defined change request phases Qualification Required: - 6+ years of relevant technical experience in Network support / operations - Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience with Zscaler, ZIA, ZPA, and Zero Trust management - Good understanding of PAC profiles and configuration - Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and L2, L3 Protocols for IP networks - Understanding of DHCP, DNS, VLAN, PPP, ICMP, ARP, NAT, QoS, etc. - Experience in troubleshooting VLAN, VTP, STP, Port channel, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, VSS & VPC, proxy exception rule management, OS upgrades, proxy centralized management - Very good knowledge of LAN, WAN, and internet - Familiarity with monitoring tools - ITIL certification would be a plus (Note: The additional details of the company mentioned in the JD have been omitted as they were written in the first person and did not directly relate to the job role.),
