Network Administrator with Zscaler

Job Description: As a Senior System Engineer/Lead Analyst specializing in Network Administration with Zscaler, you will be responsible for managing and configuring Zscaler policies and rules to ensure network security, firewall, proxy, and load balancing services are effectively implemented. With over 6 years of relevant technical experience in network support and operations, including a minimum of 4 years with Zscaler products such as ZIA and ZPA, you will play a key role in troubleshooting Zscaler issues and configuring forwarding profiles and app profiles. Your expertise will be crucial in understanding traffic flows for both HTTPS web traffic and custom application-based traffic, enabling you to design appropriate solutions for firewalling and proxy services. Your responsibilities will also include blacklisting and whitelisting based on project requirements, configuring PAC profiles, troubleshooting Zscaler connection issues in ZPA, and managing SSL inspection and certificate management. In addition to your Zscaler proficiency, you must possess a strong knowledge of routing and switching, internet content filtering, and routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP. Your understanding of L2 and L3 protocols for IP networks, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, PPP, ICMP, ARP, NAT, and QoS will be essential for effectively troubleshooting network issues and ensuring smooth operations. Furthermore, your role will involve managing proxy exception rules, handling OS upgrades, and engaging with stakeholders to address network-related concerns. With a customer-centric approach, you will proactively assist junior team members in issue resolution and contribute to a collaborative work environment. To ensure adherence to ITIL Incident Management guidelines, you will follow the ticketing process according to defined change request phases. Your skills in English, network administration, network engineering, network operations control, and network security will be leveraged to deliver high-quality network services and support.
