The Role Do you want to be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge network solutions? Within our Network Services team at Kyndryl, you will be the go-to expert for providing top-of-the-line technical solutions throughout the entire solution lifecycle. You will be responsible for creating local and wide-area network solutions that utilize multiple platforms and protocols, ensuring that our customers have the best possible network infrastructure to support their business needs. Your skills in routers, networking controllers, bridges, and networking software will be essential as you troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with vendors to install the latest hardware and software, such as routers and switches. Not only will you help keep our customers networks running smoothly, but you will also work on project implementation, conduct project planning and cost analysis, and build proof-of-concept solutions with networking system technology. In this role, you will have the opportunity to review project requirements, communicate them accurately to the team, and ensure they are appropriately fulfilled. You will use your expertise to design and implement local and wide-area network solutions, including IP and VOIP, that address customer requirements. You will also provide high-quality technical solutions to our customers to prepare them for implementation, go-live, and maintenance. Required Technical and Professional Expertise 3+ years of experience in Illumio and Micro segmentation Experience mission-critical network support; hands-on experience with Micro Segmentation platforms (e.g., Illumio, Guard core). Troubleshooting skills at OS Kerner level. Knowledge on various Software deployments/Automation tools such as Ansible & Puppet. Basic knowledge on Firewall concepts, Routing & Switching. Initial Setup and Configuration Software update of PCE and VENs. Manage safety rules and Reporting Reviews control of the rules implemented by the business Managing support (L1, L2, requests, incidents and changes), administration Analysis of console alerts Activating/deactivating specific rules Monitoring and analysis of PCE alerts on the console Monitoring VENs Ensure continuity and recovery of the IT PCE service Helping with Trouble shooting/alerts, malfunctions and support for the use of the solution/ end users Act on alerts received through tickets or monitoring tools. Good Troubleshooting of Illumio related components on Windows and Unix servers. Responsible for handling Incident and Request Management. Participate in Change and Problem Management Raise change requests where required. Implement Standard and minor changes. Ensure ITIL compliance for all incidents and service calls Ensure KPI compliance for all incidents and service calls Adhere to documented notification and escalation process Communicate to the customer while responding to a case and after resolution of the case. Participate in regular reviews with the team Update daily reports and checklists as defined. Create and update documentation To be proactive and have an Agile mindset to manage and execute Agile Scrum activities. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Illumio Certification Operating system Windows or Linux certification Scripting expertise and certification
