Network Admin L2 (Firewall)

Role Overview: As a Network Admin L2 at Jio located in Pune, your main responsibility will be to manage network systems to ensure security and efficiency while supporting the organization's telecom infrastructure. You will be expected to have proficiency in network security and firewalls, with a focus on Cisco ASA and Palo Alto. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. - Monitor network traffic and security alerts, promptly resolving issues to maintain seamless operations. - Implement and manage firewalls to uphold robust network security across all systems. - Configure and maintain essential network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. - Oversee routing protocols like BGP and OSPF to enhance network reliability and scalability. - Utilize network automation tools to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. - Assist in network design and architecture planning to ensure alignment with company objectives. - Document network changes and configurations, maintaining clear records for future reference. Qualifications Required: - B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science with a minimum of 60% marks throughout academics. - At least 5 to 10 years of experience in network and security operations. - Proficiency in network security and familiarity with Firewalls like Cisco ASA and Palo Alto is mandatory. - Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, NTP & DHCP protocols is required. - Hands-on experience with routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF, is necessary to ensure network efficiency and security. - Knowledge and experience in network automation to streamline processes and increase reliability. - Proficiency in automation languages such as Python or Ansible for scripting and automating tasks. - Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues with expertise and efficiency. - Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure. - Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.,
