Job Title: .NET Developer with Xamarin Location: Pune (Hinjewadi) Experience: 8-13 Years Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled .NET Developer with Xamarin expertise to join our dynamic team at Persistent Systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing cross-platform mobile applications using Xamarin.Forms, Xamarin.Android, and Xamarin.iOS . You will be responsible for building robust and scalable applications while ensuring high performance, security, and seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain mobile applications using Xamarin.Forms, Xamarin.Android, and Xamarin.iOS . Design, build, and enhance .NET-based backend services to support mobile applications. Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver a seamless user experience. Implement RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, JWT) , and secure data storage. Work with Azure/AWS cloud services for backend integration, deployment, and performance optimization. Utilize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar) for automated testing and deployment. Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure the application meets scalability and security best practices . Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to maintain high-quality software standards. Required Skills: 5+ years of experience in .NET development , with at least 3 years in Xamarin . Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Xamarin.Forms . Experience in developing cross-platform mobile applications ( Android & iOS ) using Xamarin . Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and Web Services . Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud . Experience with SQLite, SQL Server, or NoSQL databases for mobile applications. Proficiency in Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket for version control. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Good to Have: Experience with .NET MAUI for next-gen mobile development. Familiarity with MVVM architecture for Xamarin applications. Exposure to Outlook plugin development using DevExpress, Add-in Express, or Microsoft.Office.Interop libraries. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) . Education: Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field .
