As a .NET Developer at Capgemini, your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using .NET Core / .NET Framework. You will build and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure utilizing services like App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL. Developing RESTful APIs and integrating them with third-party services and internal systems will also be a key part of your role. In addition, you will implement secure authentication and authorization using Azure Active Directory and OAuth. Utilizing Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated deployments will be crucial. You will optimize application performance and scalability by employing caching, asynchronous programming, and Azure monitoring tools. Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles and design patterns is essential. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, QA, and business analysts, will be necessary to deliver high-quality solutions. You will have the opportunity to conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. Ensuring compliance with security standards, data protection regulations, and best practices is paramount in this role. Your secondary skills may involve assisting in migrating legacy applications to Azure cloud infrastructure, monitoring and troubleshooting production issues for high availability and reliability, and participating in sprint planning and daily stand-ups in an Agile environment. Creating and maintaining technical documentation for architecture, design, and deployment processes will also be part of your responsibilities. Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in .NET and Azure technologies, supporting the evaluation and adoption of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies, and collaborating with DevOps and infrastructure teams to enhance deployment and monitoring strategies are additional aspects of the role. You will contribute to internal knowledge-sharing sessions and technical workshops, assist in cost optimization efforts by analyzing Azure resource usage, and provide technical support and guidance during client demos, UAT, and post-deployment phases.
