Provide comprehensive medical care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Manage and monitor premature, critically ill, or low-birth-weight infants.
Diagnose and treat newborns with breathing disorders, infections, and other life-threatening conditions.
Perform neonatal procedures such as intubation, surfactant administration, and umbilical line insertion.
Coordinate with obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and other specialists for optimal neonatal care.
Provide parental counseling and education regarding infant health, treatment, and prognosis.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records for all patients.
Participate in neonatal transport and emergency resuscitation when required.
Adhere to hospital protocols, ethical standards, and patient safety regulations.
Contribute to training, mentoring, and continuing education programs for medical and nursing staff.
Education: MD / DNB / DM in Neonatology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
License: Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council.
Experience: Minimum [2–5 years] of experience in a Level III NICU or tertiary care setup preferred.

Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
Ability to perform under high-pressure emergency situations
