Key Responsibilities Research upcoming fashion trends, fabrics, prints, and silhouettes for women’s ethnic and western wear. Create fresh, market-ready designs for kurtis, dupatta sets, dresses, cord sets, and indo-western styles. Develop mood boards, color palettes, and season-wise themes. Prepare detailed sketches, tech packs, and measurement sheets for production. Coordinate closely with production teams to ensure accurate sample development. Select fabrics, trims, laces, and accessories suitable for each design. Work with sampling teams to finalize fits, patterns, and finishing details. Follow timelines and ensure new collections are ready for each season. Stay updated with customer preferences, retail trends, and competitor collections. Ensure design quality, originality, and commercial appeal. Skills & Qualifications Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing from a recognized institute. Strong knowledge of women’s ethnic and western wear categories. Proficiency in sketching, designing software (CorelDRAW/Illustrator/Photoshop preferred). Good understanding of fabrics, patterns, embroidery, and garment construction. Creative thinking with a strong sense of color, style, and trends. Ability to handle multiple design projects and meet deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
