Position: Senior Power BI Developer Type: Part-Time (Remote) Working Hours: 8:00 PM 12:00 AM IST (4 hours/day) About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power BI, DAX, data modeling, and ETL processes . You will be responsible for building interactive dashboards, optimizing existing reports, and ensuring data accuracy and performance. This role is ideal for professionals looking to contribute in the evenings while working on challenging data visualization and business intelligence projects. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations . Create and optimize data models, measures, and calculations using DAX . Integrate multiple data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, Cloud) into unified reporting solutions. Implement row-level security (RLS), performance tuning , and best practices for efficient BI solutions. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable dashboards. Support ETL workflows , data validation, and ensure data accuracy. Troubleshoot and optimize existing Power BI solutions for better performance. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts when needed. Qualifications & Skills 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or BI Specialist. Strong expertise in: Power BI (Desktop & Service) DAX, Power Query (M), Data Modeling SQL (intermediate to advanced level) Experience with ETL tools and processes . Knowledge of Azure Data Services / Power Platform (preferred but not mandatory). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a part-time evening shift (8 PM 12 AM IST) . Preferred Experience Exposure to enterprise-scale BI environments . Experience in report automation and performance optimization . Knowledge of data warehousing concepts . Previous work with cross-functional teams in global organizations .
