Position Details Role: English Evaluator Job Type: Work from Home Experience: Minimum 1 year Work Days: 6 days a week (1st & 3rd Saturday and all Sundays off) Timings: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented English Evaluator to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of phonics-based reading and pronunciation sessions conducted by teachers from the United States and the United Kingdom. Your evaluations and feedback will directly contribute to maintaining academic excellence and enhancing teaching standards. Key Responsibilities Evaluation: Review and evaluate recorded reading and pronunciation sessions delivered by native English-speaking teachers. Assessment: Assess teacher performance against established rubrics and guidelines. Feedback: Provide constructive, actionable feedback to support teacher growth and session quality. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of evaluations and feedback, applying a data-driven approach. Calibration: Participate in regular training and calibration sessions to ensure fairness, reliability, and consistency in evaluations. Phonics Expertise: Apply a clear and strong understanding of phonics principles during evaluations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field. Minimum 1 year and Maximum of 4 years of relevant teaching or evaluation experience. Strong understanding of phonics principles and their application in reading and pronunciation. Familiarity with US and UK phonics curriculum standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to provide constructive feedback. Proficient with digital evaluation tools and online platforms. Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently. Preferred Qualifications Teaching certification or equivalent qualification. Experience with online education platforms, tools, or e-learning environments. Prior experience in phonics teaching, language teaching and teacher training.
