NC Programmer

VBS, Hyderabad has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Programmer in the Engineering Department. This position works closely with the Manufacturing Engineering Team and Responsible for studying & analyzing given 3D solid model or drawing & generating optimum tool path & verification.

• Ability to do CNC program using CAM tools preferably workNC. Experience with other tools such as MasterCAM, PowerMILL etc. can be considered
• Experience with CNC programming.
• Hands-on experience working with VMC is preferable
• Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, Tapping, and other processes
• Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Prepare and operate CNC machines with tool function to perform tasks such as drilling, Tapping etc.
• Prepare the correct document for loading raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Verification to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
• Finished path and compare them with requirements (check list) to determine if the process has been completed properly
• Proven experience as CNC milling operator for over 2 years
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
• Good oral and written English language skills.

Education Qualification: -

B.E(Mech)/Diploma

Indicative Years of Experience Required: 2-4 Years in the relevant field.
