Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager Public Sector/Private Sector BFSI to drive business development and relationship management in public sector banks and financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working with or within public/private sector BFSI organizations. Key Responsibilities: Drive business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities within public sector banks and insurance companies. Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders (CXO/CIO/GM/DGM level) in public BFSI entities. Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closure, ensuring timely onboarding and account growth. Understand client needs and position relevant product/solutions (e.g., core banking, digital banking, lending platforms, data analytics, etc.). Work closely with internal pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to align offerings with client requirements. Ensure high standards of account servicing and post-sales engagement to support cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Prepare proposals, RFP responses, and commercial negotiations in compliance with government/public sector procurement processes. Preferred Background: Professionals with prior work experience in PSU banks, IT/Fintech sales to BFSI, or in public. Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in the public BFSI sector. Experience in enterprise SaaS, IT solutions, or BFSI technology platforms is a plus.
