organisational Fire Protection BIM Engineer / Specialist Overview: We are seeking an experienced BIM Specialist/Engineer with a strong background in fire protection system design. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry and be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. This role involves leading sprinkler system design, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior staff. Key Responsibilities: Design and layout of fire protection systems (sprinkler, foam, gas, mist, inert gas, special hazards) per LPC/NFPA/FM standards. Perform hydraulic calculations, prepare shop drawings, and generate fabrication/installation documents. Coordinate piping layouts with other trades and disciplines. Lead BIM modelling efforts (LOD 200400) using Revit and related tools. Conduct clash detection and QA/QC reviews. Mentor junior BIM engineers and support team development. Attend project meetings and liaise with clients and stakeholders. Extract BOQs and manage project schedules and documentation. Here's what you'll need The Engineer-Water shall have master planning and hydraulic engineering and design experience on water projects. He shall be a water sector practitioner with good experience in the core subject, having a level of expertise and experience commensurate with the position. The candidate must have a minimum of Bachelor of Engineering degree from recognized university, Master’s in environmental/ Water Resource Engineering would be an added advantage and must have 5 - 15 years’ experience in water/wastewater projects with at least 4 - 10 years in hydraulic modeling on WaterGEMS platform. The candidate shall be performing hydraulic analysis and calculations for medium to large sized cities, evaluate capacity of existing system, develop water supply strategy for future demand, optioneering and multi-criteria analysis to select most suitable water supply strategy, SWOT analysis of selected option and collate the outcome in a well-structured report.
