Ensure the OT is cleaned, disinfected, and prepared before each surgery. Check functionality of OT lights, suction, cautery, anesthesia equipment, and monitors. Prepare and arrange surgical instruments, trays, and equipment as per the surgery list. Maintain sterility while opening instrument sets and consumables. Assist in positioning patients as instructed by the surgeon or anesthetist. Assist surgeons during procedures by providing instruments, sutures, and equipment as required. Handle instruments safely and efficiently to maintain surgical flow. Ensure proper use of OT equipment such as cautery, suction, endoscopic devices, etc. Maintain a sterile environment and follow strict infection control protocols. Monitor and report any equipment malfunction immediately. Record use of instruments, consumables, and implants. Maintain equipment usage logbooks. Follow NABH standards for OT safety, infection control, and sterilization. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols.
