DataMundi, formerly known as Summa Linguae Technologies, is currently looking to hire native Portuguese (Brazilian) linguists for a freelance, remote position. Please note that candidates from Brazil are not eligible at this time due to client restrictions. As a linguist with DataMundi, you will be involved in a long-term, high-volume project that includes tasks such as annotation, labeling, and reviewing. The project details are as follows: - Start: Ongoing - Volume: 510 hours per week - Deadline: Strict 48-hour turnaround time from task assignment - Platform: Work will be carried out on a proprietary client platform - Compensation: - $10 per hour for individuals without a linguistic degree or less than 2 years of experience - $15 per hour for those with a linguistic degree or 2+ years of verified experience Requirements for this position include: - Being a native speaker of Portuguese (Brazilian) - Fluency in English - Strong attention to detail - Prohibition on the use of AI/LLM tools - Mandatory signing of electronic paperwork before commencing work It is important to note that applicants from specific countries, including Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, China, and the United Kingdom, are not eligible to apply due to client policy.
