Location: Nashik Khatprakalpa, Nashik Reporting : Production Manager or General Manager (as applicable) Male Candidate Only Salary Package Rs 6 - 8 Lacs per annum (CTC), Experience 6-7 yrs for Mechanical Engineer and 8-10 years Diploma holder Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical or Production Engineering. The Fabrication Executive Officer will be responsible for leading and managing all in-house and rectification fabrication activities for key plant machinery, specifically Conveyors, Rotary Screening (Trommels), and other Mild Steel (MS) structures. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong technical expertise in metal fabrication processes, and exceptional team leadership and project planning skills to ensure high-quality output, operational efficiency, and adherence to production schedules. 📋 Key Responsibilities 1) Core Fabrication & Rectification Execute and Supervise fabrication and rectification work for Conveyor systems, Rotary Screens (Trommels), and various MS structures critical to plant operation. Ensure all fabrication/rectification work is performed according to engineering drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety norms. Maintain a high level of proficiency and hands-on involvement in essential fabrication processes, including welding, gas cutting, machining, and grinding. Oversee the quality control of all fabricated items, performing necessary inspections and checks to ensure dimensional accuracy and structural integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve technical fabrication issues efficiently to minimize downtime of plant and machinery. 2) Team Management & Instruction Lead, instruct, and motivate a team of Fitters and Welders, clearly communicating work instructions, standards, and priorities related to fabrication tasks. Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team performance to ensure targets and deadlines are met. Conduct on-the-job training for team members to enhance their technical skills in welding, cutting, grinding, and fitting. Implement strong man-management skills to foster a safe, cooperative, and highly productive work environment. 3) Planning, Reporting & Operations Develop detailed planning and scheduling for all fabrication, repair, and maintenance jobs to optimize resource allocation (manpower, materials, equipment). Coordinate with the maintenance and operations teams to schedule rectification work to align with minimum operational disruption. Manage material inventory, ensuring the availability of all necessary raw materials and consumables (e.g., welding rods, gas) for uninterrupted workflow. Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on daily/weekly/monthly fabrication progress, material consumption, man-hours utilized, and any quality/safety non-conformances.
