Job Title: Sales Officer – Pesticides & Fertilizers Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Agriculture / Crop Protection / Fertilizers Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer to promote and sell our range of pesticides, fertilizers, and crop nutrition products in the Raipur region. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building strong dealer networks, and providing agronomic support to farmers. Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Revenue Growth Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for pesticides and fertilizers. Identify new markets and expand product reach in Raipur and nearby districts. Generate demand through field visits and farmer meetings. 2. Dealer & Distributor Management Appoint and maintain strong relationships with retailers, dealers, and distributors. Ensure product availability, timely order booking, and payment collection. Conduct product training and business development activities for channel partners. 3. Farmer Awareness & Field Activities Organize farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and crop-specific campaigns. Provide technical guidance on product usage, pest management, and nutrient application. Collect and report feedback on product performance. 4. Market Intelligence Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market demands. Share regular market insights with the regional sales manager. Identify potential opportunities for new product placement. 5. Reporting & Documentation Maintain daily visit reports and sales records. Update CRM or company reporting tools as required. Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc Agri) or Agri-related field preferred. 1–3 years of experience in agri-input sales (pesticides, fertilizers, seeds). Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills. Ability to travel extensively across Raipur and nearby rural markets. Knowledge of local crops, soil conditions, and farming practices in Chhattisgarh. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
