We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our sales and market expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing of engineering equipment and services and the strategic capability to drive revenue growth, penetrate new markets, and build a robust dealer network. Key Responsibilities: • Identify new market opportunities and potential customers in the marine and engineering sectors. • Develop and execute strategies to generate qualified leads and convert them into successful business deals. • Build and manage a network of dealers and distribution partners to enhance market presence. • Foster long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders. • Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to tailor solutions to client needs. • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to refine go-to-market strategy. • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as required. • Prepare and present business proposals, sales reports, and performance dashboards to senior leadership. • Ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall organizational goals and revenue targets. Desired profile of the candidate Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or business development of engineering machinery/equipment. Industry Advantage: Exposure to marine engineering equipment marketing is an added advantage but not mandatory. Education: Mechanical Engineering is preferred but not mandatory. Compensation & Benefits: Fixed Pay: 7.50 LPA 10.00 LPA based on experience and suitability Variable Pay: Performance-linked incentive.
