Nanny / Housekeeper in Amsterdam

Live-in Nanny / Au Pair (Netherlands – Indian Family)

We are a warm Indian family of three (Hindi, Bengali, and English-speaking) living in the Netherlands. We’re looking for a responsible, independent, and caring nanny/au pair to join us for 1 year and provide childcare and light household support.

Core Responsibilities

Childcare

• Provide daily care for our 3-year-old, including dressing, bathing, and supervising play.
• Support with age-appropriate learning and homework.
• Prepare child’s meals, snacks, and school lunches.
• Drop-off and pick-up from school, daycare, and activities.
• Organize fun activities such as arts & crafts, games, and park visits.

Light Household Chores

• Tidy and vacuum children’s bedrooms and play areas.
• Help in the kitchen: meal preparation, dishwasher loading/unloading.
• Laundry and ironing (child + family as needed).

Living with the Host Family

• Be part of our family life and join us for outings, activities, and vacations.
• Share your culture and language while learning about Dutch life and traditions.

Skills & Requirements

• Prior experience as a nanny/childcare provider.
• Confident and committed to living abroad for 1 year.
• Responsible, independent, and reliable in managing childcare and light household duties.
• Basic English (speaking/understanding).
• Valid passport.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly stipend: €35,000 – €50,000 INR equivalent (based on experience).
• Health insurance included.

• Unlimited transport card for weekend travel in the Netherlands.
• All agency fees and flight tickets covered.
