As a Pharmacist at Namah Meds, the in-house pharmacy located at Namah Neurocare Hospital, we are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to become a valuable member of our team. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately dispensing medications, ensuring regulatory compliance, and offering guidance on prescriptions to both patients and healthcare professionals. You will be expected to dispense medications precisely according to prescriptions, counsel patients on proper medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects, and uphold compliance with hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and drug safety protocols. Additionally, your role will involve managing inventory, restocking medications, monitoring expiry dates to avoid shortages or wastage, and collaborating with doctors and nurses to ensure effective patient care and medication management. Keeping meticulous records of prescriptions, stock, and billing in accordance with regulatory requirements will also be part of your duties. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.Pharm degree from a recognized institution, possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in either a hospital or retail pharmacy environment, and maintain a valid pharmacist license as mandated by regulatory standards. A solid understanding of neurological and neurosurgical medications is preferred, along with exceptional communication skills and keen attention to detail.
