The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP QM modules within pharmaceutical, life sciences, or manufacturing environments. You will work closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and technical experts to deliver high-quality SAP solutions, ensure regulatory compliance, and continuously improve quality management processes. Key Responsibilities: Gather business requirements, design solutions, and deliver end-to-end implementations in the SAP QM module. Configure and customize QM functionalities including Inspection Lots, MICs, Sampling, and Usage Decisions . Manage CAPA processes , reducing defect recurrence and ensuring quality improvements. Integrate QM with other SAP modules (MM, PP, SD) and external systems using IDocs, CPI , and other middleware tools. Drive process automation and Batch Release Hub (BRH) optimization in S/4 HANA environments. Create functional specifications, process documentation, and test scripts. Conduct UAT, defect analysis, and issue resolution within defined SLAs. Support regulatory compliance initiatives (GxP, pharma quality standards) and ensure audit readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ABAP, Basis, Security, CPI) to deliver seamless business processes. Provide knowledge transfer, mentorship, and training to junior team members. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4–6 years of hands-on experience as a SAP QM Functional Consultant . Strong expertise in inspection planning, sampling procedures, MICs, and usage decisions . Experience with IDoc automation , variant configuration, and job scheduling. Proven integration experience with MM, PP, SD , and external systems. Exposure to S/4 HANA environments and BRH process optimization. In-depth understanding of CAPA , quality notifications, and regulatory compliance ( GxP ). Experience working with tools like SAP Solution Manager and Proton Testing Tool . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
