Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Software Engineer Intern at MyYouth.ai. You’ll contribute to the mobile and web applications that deliver personalized health insights to our users. You’ll work on React Native development, backend integrations, and user experience enhancements, while learning how AI is applied in health and genomics. What You'll Do Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to design, develop, and maintain MyYouth.ai applications. Implement new features that bring genetic and AI-driven health insights to users in an intuitive way. Write clean, efficient, and scalable code. Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and reliability. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in mobile development, AI, and health-tech. Requirements Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (graduating in 2025 or 2026). Basic knowledge of JavaScript and React Native framework. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Availability of ~20 hours per week. Passionate about health, AI, and building products that make a difference. Nice to Have Prior experience with mobile app development. Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub).
