Position: Capacity Building Specialist Trainer (01) Organization: Myna Mahila Foundation Project: Swarna Nav Disha (with KADA and Aditya Birla Hindalco CSR) Location: Kuppam, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh Contract: 6-month contract (renewable based on program continuation) About Myna Mahila Foundation Myna Mahila Foundation empowers women from marginalized communities through livelihood creation and improved reproductive health awareness. Its programs promote menstrual health, reproductive rights, and quality healthcare delivery through training and technology integration. Website: https://mynamahila.com About the Project Swarna Nav Disha is a reproductive health partnership implemented across 13 health facilities in Kuppam constituency. The project builds the capacity of 345 healthcare providers (ASHA workers, ANMs, clinical staff, and specialists) to strengthen client-centered counseling and improve service quality. Role Overview The Capacity Building Spl Trainer will deliver and support high-quality training to healthcare providers, focusing on reproductive health, family planning counseling, adolescent health, and male engagement. The role combines in-person facilitation, field mentoring, and quality monitoring, with strong guidance from the central technical Key Responsibilities Training Design & Delivery ● Deliver structured training sessions for Frontline workers (ASHA, ANMs, staff nurses) and Clinical staff (medical officers, counselors) ● Facilitate engaging learning using role plays, case studies, and demonstrations. ● Support adaptation of training content for different cadres using provided materials. ● Support design of training content presentation and deliver content using adult learning methodologies. ● Conduct post-training assessments and maintain training records. Provider Mentoring & Supervision ● Visit health facilities monthly to observe counseling sessions and provide supportive feedback. ● Assist providers in improving session duration, completeness, and client interaction. ● Support facility in-charges with implementing simple quality improvement actions. ● Report progress, challenges, and best practices to the program lead. Quality Support Systems ● Implement standard counseling quality checklists and observation tools. ● Gather feedback from providers and clients for continuous improvement. ● Identify training refresh needs and share recommendations with the central team. Technology and Reporting ● Train providers on the mHealth app and Myna Bolo chatbot functionality. ● Support digital data entry and dashboard updates. ● Maintain attendance registers, training reports, and documentation materials Required ● 2–4 years experience in training or capacity building in healthcare or community programs. ● Good understanding of reproductive health, family planning, or adolescent health. ● Strong facilitation and communication skills in Telugu and English. ● Comfortable using digital tools for training and data tracking. ● Willingness to travel frequently across Kuppam’s 13 health facilities. Preferred ● Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Social Work, Education or related fields. ● Experience of working in capacity building development programs is as added advantage ● Exposure to government health programs and community health worker training. ● Interest in building skills in curriculum development and quality assurance systems through mentorship.
