You are seeking a talented and motivated Overseas Student Counsellor to join our team in Cochin. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in overseas education counselling, a comprehensive knowledge of international education systems, and outstanding communication abilities. As a Senior Counsellor, your primary responsibility will be to assist students in navigating the process of studying abroad. This includes aiding them in selecting suitable courses and institutions, preparing applications, and providing continuous support throughout the admissions procedure. Your key responsibilities will include guiding students on study abroad opportunities in various countries, advising them on educational courses and program selection, and assisting in career planning for studies abroad. You will be responsible for shortlisting institutions for students interested in studying abroad and conducting counselling sessions on study abroad, admissions, and visa processes. Additionally, you will be expected to proactively follow up on student inquiries, prepare university applications, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process. Maintaining accurate records of counselled students, providing regular reports, and helping students understand their skill sets to maximize their potential will also be part of your role. You will be required to interview and prepare students to meet application eligibility criteria, assist them in completing admission forms, and prepare necessary financial documentation. Moreover, managing the financial aid process, educating students about education loans, and supporting them in obtaining financial assistance will be essential components of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Overseas Education Counselling, possess a pleasant demeanor with effective convincing and sales skills, and demonstrate a passion for learning along with a commitment to personal and professional development within the company.,
