Role & responsibilities Demonstrate strong understanding of power semiconductor devices such as IGBTs, MOSFETs, diodes, and gate driver technologies. Perform testing, validation, and performance analysis of traction converters, inverters, and DC-DC converter systems used in railway and metro applications. Conduct testing, performance evaluation, and reliability assessments under laboratory and field conditions. Support prototype development, commissioning, and field trials of traction converters and related equipment. Prepare technical documentation, design reports, and test protocols in accordance with industry and RDSO standards. Preferred candidate profile We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer with hands-on experience in traction converter testing and performance evaluation for railway and metro applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in AC/DC converters, inverters, and power semiconductor systems, along with the ability to conduct rigorous testing, performance evaluation, and failure analysis under real-world operating conditions.
