Key Responsibilities:

• Teach music to students across different grades as per CBSE curriculum requirements.
• Develop lesson plans, practice schedules, and assessment tools aligned with CBSE guidelines.
• Train students in both vocal and instrumental music (Indian and Western, as per school requirement).
• Prepare students for school events, assemblies, cultural functions, competitions, and examinations.
• Identify and nurture musical talent among students.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate music into cross-curricular projects and school programs.
• Maintain discipline, a positive learning environment, and respect for the performing arts in the classroom.
• Guide students in composing, improvising, and performing music.
• Stay updated with modern teaching methodologies and incorporate technology where applicable.
• Ensure proper care, usage, and maintenance of musical instruments and resources.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. (preferred, as per CBSE norms).
• Prior teaching experience in a CBSE school or reputed institution will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in vocal and/or instrumental music (Indian Classical, Semi-Classical, and/or Western).
