Role Overview: As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a dynamic and engaging music program that nurtures students" musical abilities, creativity, and appreciation for global musical traditions. Your role will involve classroom teaching, co-curricular involvement, and contributing to school-wide performances and events. You will work with students of various age groups in a diverse, international school environment. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver music lessons across relevant grade levels following the school's curriculum. - Teach music theory, vocal techniques, instrumental instruction, and composition using diverse teaching strategies. - Instruct students in playing instruments like keyboard, guitar, percussion, recorder, etc. - Lead choir/vocal groups, support solo and group performance development, and prepare students for assessments or performances. - Organize musical performances, assemblies, recitals, and school productions, collaborating on annual events and school-wide initiatives. - Create a positive classroom environment, encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence, and differentiate instruction for students with varying musical backgrounds. - Lead or support after-school music clubs, school band/orchestra, and mentor students in competitions or external music certifications. - Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments, manage music room equipment, and collaborate with colleagues for cross-disciplinary learning opportunities. Qualification Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field. - Teaching certification/license preferred. - 2+ years of teaching experience in music, preferably in an international or multicultural setting. - Proficiency in at least one instrument and music theory. - Familiarity with music technology and digital composition tools. - Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.,
