As a Certified Health and Fitness Coach at Six D Healthcare Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for conducting fitness assessments, postural analysis, and musculoskeletal screenings. Your role will involve creating customized workout charts tailored to clients" fitness levels, medical conditions, and lifestyle goals. It will be essential to educate clients on proper exercise techniques, form, and breathing to prevent injuries and maximize effectiveness. Collaborating with physiotherapists, dietitians, and health coaches to deliver holistic care plans is also a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will track and evaluate client progress regularly, modifying exercise programs as needed. Maintaining accurate documentation of client sessions and progress reports will be crucial. Conducting both one-on-one and group fitness sessions as required is part of the job. Staying updated on current trends and research in exercise science and rehabilitation is essential to provide the best service to clients. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Science, Physiotherapy, Sports Science, or a related field. Certification in Personal Training or Corrective Exercise (e.g., ACSM, NSCA, ACE, ISSA) is preferred. An in-depth knowledge of human anatomy, muscle mechanics, and movement patterns is required. Additionally, having a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in clinical or wellness settings is necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital, along with the ability to motivate, coach, and build rapport with diverse clients. Preferred skills for this role include experience in working with special populations such as diabetes, obesity, or orthopedic conditions. Familiarity with wellness technologies like fitness trackers, apps, and EMR systems is advantageous. Knowledge of yoga or corrective movement training is considered a plus. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, a flexible schedule, paid sick time, and paid time off.
